She was a new student working with experienced students, but it wasn’t long until she was the driving force on the team. She was quick to take ownership, and then initiative, and then began to lead by example, working diligently while also helping others to do the same. She is now a senior and will graduate in May of 2022. Her college career has not been a smooth and easy path but has been filled with adversity, and yet through each challenge she has continued to shine as an example of resilience, grit and determination. She facilitates communication between herself and her peers and between work supervisors and fellow students, often initiating difficult conversations.
